Scrapbook Layout: Simple Page using Neon Graffiti

Today I'm playing with a clean and simple scrapbooking layout using Limor Webber's new Neon Graffiti set of Flat Fabios from Lindy's Stamp Gang. Now these neon's are bright, and I mean REALLY bright - the colours are luscious, intense and bold. My first impulse when I received the new colours was to use them the same way I normally do (ie spray it everywhere!) - I quickly found out that when dealing with NEON colours, that less is more!... Doodling Tricks & Tips: Using Your Leftover Ink or Paint

I've mentioned before that I will often use leftover spray ink, paint etc to add colour to a blank page. Yes I really do this and when feeling a bit aimless I will use one of these pre-coloured random backgrounds. As you may expect the results are shall we say, a little unpredictable, especially since when wiping up leftover inks I completely disregard what might look good, what colours match and anything else resembling an actual thought process - I... Testing LSG Starbursts on Golden Mediums

Today I'm testing Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays over a variety of Golden products. I'm often see comments on my projects saying 'ooh Love this will this technique work on (insert name of product)?' Now most of the time I've tried a similar idea but sometimes I haven't, so I thought that for today's post I would gather 7 common Golden products and see how the Lindy's Stamp Gang Starbursts react. I'm testing products commonly used by both artists and... Read more →

Silvery Mixed Media Journal Page "In the Moonlight"

Today I'm creating a heavily textured, high-octane sparkle journal page! For me this one was about playing with layering and collage materials and using ideas I've seen on the internet from our own gorgeous Marta Lapkowska and Finnabair aka Anna Dabrowska (ie: gesso over collage) and layered journal pages and building on this, to create something with my own flavour - which as you know is sparkly! I think this page turned out with a total Christmas or Winter feel... Read more →

Wild Abstract Pink and Blue Doodled Page

It's time for another Lindy's Stamp Gang Color Challenge and this month the palette is bright beachy colours! For a change I used all of the colours picked for this month: Delphinium Turquoise, (you could substitute Hydrangea Blue) Frenchy's Pink Pouf, Ocean Breeze Blue, Clam Bake Beige and Steel Shimmer (as I didn't have Silent Night Silver!) The colour combination made for a bright and happy result. What I did: Begin by drawing a doodle using waterproof markers, I used... Read more →

Scenic Layer Card - C.A.S.

Today I'm going to show you a simple but stunning technique using Magicals from Lindy's Stamp Gang. This process proved so simple, stress-free and downright gorgeous that I'm thinking of using this technique for my Christmas cards - though it could be adapted for any occasion. You won't need many supplies to make this, but is is important to use a smooth watercolour card, a good self-adhesive stencil and a highly pigmented watercolour (you know Magicals are my favourite variety!).... Mail Art Made Easy with Magicals

Today I was inspired to play with matching envelopes and cards and thought I'd try something simple with my Magicals from Lindy's Stamp Gang. I have to admit that I don't send as many cards or decorated envelopes as I used to - so when I do send something I like to try and make it look a little special and let the recipient know I'm thinking of them - my version of sending a big hug through the mail.... Simple Watercolor Journal Page Background

Today I'm going to step away from my usual page style for a change and create something simple. There are days when I just want to put a thought on paper and add a simple illustration, so that's what I'm doing today. Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays are perfect for creating layered and super sparkly pages, but are equally wonderful for paler and simpler artworks. They are also a dream to journal over and worked beautifully with my Copic Multi Liners.... Read more →

Monotone Mixed Media Journal Page

Today I'm going to use my Copic products to create a monotone journal page. Working with a limited colour palette was a new thing for me and monotones even more difficult - you know how I love my colour! I used blue so much last year I thought I'd try a different palette and settled on a grungy, vintage colour scheme. After giving the page a bit of thought, I decided to go completely Copic - ALL the colour on... Read more →

Today I'm sharing a little Lindy's Stamp Gang love and showing off one of the new products Purely White Embossing Powder. I'm also hoping to inspire you with 3 different cards all using the same basic technique.
