Instructions
Start by trimming your card into a square shape and ruling equal lines across your card. If you want perfect colours with no pattern, bleeding or blending - cut along these lines. If you want something like I have done - leave as one piece of card.
Using masking sheets, low tack tape or scrap paper (to protect the rest of the card), mask off each section and add colour one at a time, dry between colours. I wanted my colours to bleed under the mask a bit so I painted my sprays on and added extra liquid to encourage colour bleeding.
Continue to add one colour at a time and dry between colours until whole card is coloured. If you have cut your card into strips, reassemble and glue on to backing card before continuing.
To make the colours seem more vibrant add a little black for contrast, I flicked and dripped on black ink. You may want to wear an apron and lay some protective paper over your desk - or perhaps you are just not as messy and accident prone as I am :)
Add coordinating colours of Glitter tape to hide pencil or join lines. Trim off any excess, I really ADORE this Glitter Tape.
Ink embellishment with sticky ink and cover with embossing powder (Obviously Black works so well for this!) set with a heat/embossing tool and glue onto your card front. I added 2 coats of embossing powder for a nice solid black coverage of the wooden circle today embellishment.
Mount finished card front onto matt black card to contrast with all the sparkle and colour and you are finished.
I completely adore this happy rainbow coloured card, I hope you like it as much as I do!
