I wish you could all see this in person, it's sparkly, metallic and pearlescent I'm practically in Sparkle Tart heaven! Now I didn't record this, as the base technique is based on one of the Inspiration Wednesday classes from Donna Downey, and you all know I'm a stickler for not sharing other people's ideas when it's a paid class! So I can only say I used texture paste and stencils with a bit of gesso to create the background images. I added base colour with Golden paints as a glaze and then went to town with my Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals over the top!
I've used both colours of the Magicals mixed with Glazing Medium (Satin) to create a glaze, I let the glaze settle around the texture paste and then rubbed it off in the flat areas.
I've mixed the Magicals with water to create an ink and then used this to add journaling and create a super fine and sparkly outline around my images. You can see this best where I've outlined the inside of the flower image.
And to enhance the sparkle I added a fine sheen of metallic (Iridescent Bronze) paint over the high points, applied with my finger very lightly!
Add doodling with White and Gold Choose 0.7 pens and you're finished!
Had lots of fun playing with texture and glazing and the final colours - swoon!
