Spray and Stencil Journal Page

This month's Lindy's Stamp Gang Color Challenge was so much fun, I had no real plan, just a blank page and some brand new sprays! Brand New I hear you ask - yes BRAND NEW - both in colour and kind!!! These are some of the fabulous new Flat Fabio colours designed by Limor Webber, they are gorgeous. The set is called Tres Chic and the colour is suspended in an opaque base, so you can spray them over all... Read more →

Smile Mixed Media Background Tutorial

The moment that I saw these gorgeous tissue papers from Hazel and Ruby I knew I wanted to use them on a page, so I sat down to play with a few of the newer items in my stash and this is the result - I think it would also make for an excellent 12 x 12 layout. It's only recently that I've 'found' my scrapbooking or photo page 'style' and I owe that all to Louise Nelson! I've mentioned... Read more →

So I thought I'd share my library with you all. For the moment this is just a list of the books I... Read more →

April Color Challenge using Dina Wakley Scribbly Bird

The colour palette for the April Lindy's Stamp Gang Color Challenge is very fresh and reminds me of spring, so what better theme than blue birds! Oh P-Lease! Journal Page

OK so this was one of those faces I drew while watching TV (I do this quite a bit as I'm easily bored and much better entertained while multi-tasking!). This face had several morphs on it's journey, I kept messing with the mouth, hair and nose - but I finally settled on using this for my class with Jane Davenport - Express Yourself and felt brave enough to give my girl a sneer - well that's what I was aiming...
