OK - so I don't treat my paintbrushes well - in fact they are thoroughly abused!  I forget to wash them, I leave them sitting in water, I apply masking fluid (frisket) with some of them - in general I don't take care of them - it's why I buy the cheap ones!  

Well out of the ruin has risen the inspiration for my new blog colour scheme.  A month ago I noticed the paint peeling off the handle on one of my older paint brushes, not liking the look I decided to finish the job and peel off the rest of the paint.  Underneath I found this beautiful array of colours, dye that had seeped under the paint while I was creating - I LOVE IT!  So this has become my new colour scheme - or the basis for it anyhow.....

So my new blog colours will be Dark Aqua, Pale Aqua, Purple and Lilac - with perhaps a few tiny accents of Mint and Radiant Orchid....  It will be fresh, clean and I hope pretty to look at.
