Fan Friday: Jennifer Dove
And this people, is one of the reasons I LOVE and ADORE being a part of the art and craft community, it's people like Jennifer Dove - sharing ideas because they 'Can' and not asking anything in return. The totally gorgeous Jennifer Dove from Just4Fun and Dove Art Studios is posting these fabulous Copic colour combinations tags - called Color of the Day so far there are 46 yummy tags (so far) each with a colour combo and an example of how to use it! Now if you are a Pinterest fan and a Copic fan, no doubt you've seen these amazing colour combos pinned - well this is the lovely lady who is producing them - for FREE, no strings, just putting them out there to inspire people - isn't that GENEROUS! If you haven't seen these before then take a look below - click on the photo of the tag to be transported to Jennifers' site to see the others.
Jennifer even generously provides a blank template which you can print and use for your own colour combo recording. Isn't she wonderful!
This talented artist currently is part of the Make It Crafty Design Team, the Doodle Dragon Studio crew and a Stampendous Design Team member - busy lady, even with all of these commitments she still finds time to create and share with the rest of us! Jennifer also has some wonderful Copic tutorials available on a wide range of topics, including grass, water, flowers, snow etc which are fantastic and well worth a look! If you're in the USA you may even be able to attend one of her live classes.
Now I don't only love Jennifer for her tags and colour samples, just look at her art - her colouring and use of light and reflection to create the illusion of 3 dimensions is among the best I've seen and her projects are completely unique - her blog is well worth subscribing to and if you have time sit with a cuppa and read some of her posts, just fantastic! PS I adore her quirky, cute, dark themed cards - totally different and all stunningly adorable.
These are a few of my favourite projects created by Jennifer.....
Go on - I dare you to find someone who creates more 3 dimensional images using Copic markers......
