Rainy Day Card
For my final September Guest Designer card for Sweet Nothings Stamp Co, I've chosen to use this rather cute image titled Rainy Day Sophie. She was just screaming out for something shabby chic, with a bit of sparkle - so that was what I've done. When I was little I used to love exploring in the rain - though I don't remember ever taking an umbrella! I may have gotten in to trouble once or twice while doing this he he he. Now I hate going out in the rain, not because I don't like rain, but because where I live most times the rain is warm - it's like taking a shower outside, not sure why but I like my rain cold!
AND now onto the card - I chose to use a Spellbinders Die to cut an oval frame to display Sophie and Spot (well that's what I call this little dog), which I've carefully coloured to match the 'Rondelle' papers from Prima that I used on the background, which I made using 3 different papers, one was fussy cut to create a corner on top left and bottom right - I just felt it looked more finished that way. I've accented with sparkles and some flowers (hand-made and store bought) and finished with a few simple embellishments.
