Had a ball at Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo
Some of you may have seen me at the Brisbane Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo over the long weekend - I was demonstrating my fingers off over at stand 83 - Passion 4 Paper. In spite of being so busy I didn't get to eat lunch for the first 2 days - I had a fantastic time. I met so many lovely ladies including a few people I knew from the Stamp Happy group on Yahoo, plus briefly caught up with some amazing ladies whom I adore. Next time I will take the 'good' camera and my little one didn't want to focus when other people were using it - sigh! So here are a few shots from the weekend - the only person missing is Louise Nelson who I saw as we were rushing in on the first day and then only from afar the next 3 days - now there's a lady I'd love to have a chat with over a coffee!
That's my demo spot on the front corner - I think Passion 4 Paper rocked!
Behind me is out wall of Lindy's Stamp Gang products - not hard to sell something so fabulous.
The completely gorgeous Jane Davenport, artist, author, teacher and designer - this woman is amazing!
Jan Marie from Flourishes was incredibly interesting to talk to.
and you probably already know I adore Mandi one of our Aussie Copic Instructors - thanks for such a wonderful evening Mandi, being able to have a chat with you really made my night!
It was fantastic to meet the totally amazing Irina who owns La-La Land Crafts - what a beautiful lady.
Can you tell I was having a giggle when I was allowed to wear one of the very special Miss La-La Land sashes and crowns!
I had a total ball at the Copic Champagne evening and spent time with Debbie, Sue and Karen who are all completely adorable!
Debbie, Sue and Karen are some of the current Design Team members for La-La Land Crafts and are amazing artists!
Tim is the creative director for Ranger Ink and has developed the Distress line of products (among many others).
Rachel designs the lines and owns Darkroom Door and is an amazing photographer.
I hope you can tell from the size of my huge cheesy smiles what a wonderful time I was having. PS a HUGE thank you to the organisers who did a fantastic job of the whole show and I really liked your taste in music over the weekend - someone has a sense of humour!!!
