Copic Colouring Guide released - yippee!
Hi Guys – I just thought I would mention that the new book: Copic Colouring Guide by Colleen Schaan & Marianne Walker, was just released – you can buy it as a digital download or hard copy from Annie's Attic (no affiliation just a happy customer!). I just bought a copy myself and would say this is the PERFECT book for copic beginners to intermediate, who are looking for clear, step by step information on how to use their markers to create a range of techniques.
Topics covered include:
- Marker information
- Blending rules
- Smooth colouring
- Flicking
- One colour shading
- Tip-to-tip transfers
- Palette Transferring
- Feathering
- On-paper blending
- Using the colourless blender
- Blender techniques
- Then the last section goes on to show 40 (yes forty!!!!!) colouring projects beginner, intermediate and advanced. Projects are great – but do not have step by step pictures – each project has written instructions and finished card only – still really useful, and there are LOADS of them - yep 40!
If you have never been to Level 1 Copic certification – then this will cover the basics from that course, and a few extras, plus is a wonderful reference for those who have been and forgotten stuff (LOL – come on it happens).
IMO this little gem is totally worth the money, so why not give it a look :O)
Hugs,
