I need to apologise - the first month my Craft Room Cleanse was fabulous, all running smoothly and going so well, the second month was a shambles - spotty posts, no prize draw in the last week and loads of people watching and waiting for my grand reveal! You know those months where life just goes in an unexpected direction (well that was the last 6-7 weeks).
First surprise was that my FIL was told he needed open heart surgery, he was supposed to go to the surgeon of his choosing, but after a bungle with paperwork he ended up booked in to hospital in Townsville (where we live). Needless to say there was some recovery time required at our place, plus other family members staying with us during his surgery and recovery. My parents came to visit - they just sold their house and needed to store a few things with us. My computer died (this was the main reason for the downturn in posting) I was very happy I had a 3yr warranty, not so happy after the 4th motherboard replacement that it still wasn't working, even less happy when the replacement computer took 4 weeks to arrive - so 6 weeks in total without a working computer - not pleased! As much as I love my iPad I still haven't figured how to insert a photo into a blog post on that thing, I've had to post from work during my lunch breaks - harder than it sounds. We also found out we need to excavate our backyard to correct a 'level issue' - basically means we need to dig up the whole yard and lower the level of the soil by 15cm or about 5+ inches - not a small or a cheap job! You may have noticed I was demonstrating at one of Australia's largest craft shows - wow did preparing for that take some time, I had to rope in the family to help. ...........Now - imagine all of these things happening at about the same time!!!!! LOL what a few weeks it has been - I'm kinda glad they are over - PS everyone well and recovering nicely.
So my most humble apologies to all those lovely people participating in my Craft Cleanse - either reading along or cleaning their own rooms along with me - I am now back on line and have a mountain of stuff on the To-Do list, staring with drawing the winners from those participating in the craft room cleanse!
So without further procrastination - drum roll please the 2 winners are:
- Cathy Scrivnor from Rubber, Ink and Paper... Oh My!
- Becky Dunham from bloglessinutah
- Pat from PJ's Place
No really - I can count :O) The first 2 people are the original winners of Sparkle Tart's Craft Room Cleanse, and the 3rd winner (Pat) is included because after all your patience with me over the last few weeks, someone extra needed a pressie!
So ladies if you can all email me privately with your postal addresses I will send each of the 3 ladies listed above a little surprise for embarking on this journey with me!
I plan on continuing to post Craft Room Cleanse ideas, Guest Desks and inspiring craft rooms - so stick around and keep in touch!
May your day sparkle,
